Make good friends who will protect you and they will be doing the right things also.
Always go out in a group – not alone.
Make sure the Uber is really for you and not a fake.
No drugs.
Always stay on the first floor of a party. Nothing good is going on upstairs.
Nothing good is going on late at night.
Don’t drive with someone who is drunk or buzzed. Always have your seatbelt on.
Watch for someone trying to get you drunk or put a pill in your glass. Do not put your drink down anywhere. Watch out for what is in the punch.
Call me anytime 24/7.
Remember the reason you are there – school, study, play ball, build up those grade points.
The people with the best study habits get the best grades – that is your job. Always be prepared – make yourself proud, you’re an Ivy Leaguer.
Never give up.
Don’t study in a group. You are better off studying alone.

Find a quiet place to study.
Watch for ice on the ground so you do not slip or in the street when cars cannot stop.
Be nice to everyone.
Go to your roommates games when you can. However, studying is more important.
Take good class notes. Do not loan them to anyone unless you have a copy.
Always be prepared for class – even the first day.
Remember, you have a job at about $80,000 per year. Do not get fired.
Be ready on the first day of class – do any assignments you are given before school starts.
Enjoy yourself – this is really the best time of your life!
